This role is an ideal introduction to a career within Higher Education for someone with excellent customer service and administration skills. The role will be based in Registry, a central administrative department at AUB. The primary focus of this role is to provide a wide variety of administrative support to Student Records functions. The post-holder will be maintaining accurate student records using our management information system (SITS), as well as administering our online assessment and feedback system (WISEflow). The post-holder will have experience of using databases and Microsoft Office, demonstrating a high level of digital skills and flexibility to learn bespoke systems. The Registry department is committed to providing a quality service to colleagues and students and the post-holder must have effective communication skills and enjoy working within a busy external facing department, which involves dealing with queries at a busy counter. Candidates will need to be self-motivated and a committed team player as well as be able to demonstrate an interest in Higher Education issues. A Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience is required. A degree level qualification or equivalent experience would be an advantage.
