About Arrowhead Game Studios

Arrowhead Game Studios is a mid-sized studio located in Stockholm, Sweden. So far we have released four games: Helldivers, Gauntlet, The Showdown Effect and Magicka. In 2019 we will be celebrating the company’s ten year anniversary and are on the path of an incredibly exciting journey developing our most ambitious game to date. This means we need more strong, creative and talented individuals to join the family. We have already successfully made the transition from a small to mid-sized company and currently have around 50 employees. Following the studio’s expansion, in 2017 we moved into new custom-tailored waterfront offices with a northern Scandinavian theme. With a new clean and contemporary environment Arrowhead employees can now focus on making the games they love. Arrowhead games are specifically designed to challenge the creativity of the players and our next project is no exception. We strongly believe that a game for everyone is a game for no one, which is why we make games based on the four pillars: believability, creative gameplay, social interaction & humor. Arrowhead are primarily interested in long term jobs and employment. We are not a project-based studio and prefer to have full-time employees. We feel that this contributes to a better work environment, a feeling of stability and builds stronger internal relationships; not only are we Arrowhead employees, we are also good friends. You’ll often find us hanging out together after work playing board games and painting Warhammer.
