The opportunity For tailor-made investment solutions our clients can count on, each of our projects is in the hands of specialised teams of multi- disciplinary experts. We are looking for highly motivated candidates to join the Aquila Capital team in our Investment Trainee Programme 2020. Throughout the 15-month rotational programme, you will work in our Headquarters in Hamburg as well as other international locations, gaining relevant experience in key business areas across Aquila Capital. Our commitment As part of our Investment Trainee Programme, you will: Have first-hand insight into our core business areas, including investment management, asset management, product structuring, valuation, risk management, and investment controlling Develop and enhance the required skills and knowledge to play a part in a highly dynamic and forward-thinking industry Go through an in-depth orientation process to establish your strengths and interests and identify your individual field of expertise Find support at every step of the way, developing not only your technical understanding but also your competencies and interpersonal skills Your experience As an ideal candidate for our trainee programme, you have: Graduated from a higher education programme in business administration, finance, law or another business-driven discipline, preferably a Master’s degree with a strong academic performance Some professional and/or internship experience, ideally in the field of finance or investment Worked or studied in an international and diverse environment Your skills and interests To thrive at Aquila Capital, you should be: Able to grasp complex business issues quickly Intellectually curious and eager to learn An entrepreneurial thinker with a global mindset and a passion for sustainability Good at working independently with superior self-management skills A strong communicator with a team mentality Professional, hard-working and proud to represent the company Fully fluent in English, ideally in German as well Are you interested in advancing the energy transition?
