These include; The Botanist Kirribilli The Butler Potts Point SoCal Sydney, Neutral Bay The Endeavour Tap Rooms the Rocks Della Hyde, Oxford Street Bopp & Tone, Sydney CBD As a Fulltime Cook, you will be fully responsible for a section, whether it be larder, grill or pans, and ensure you’re section is stocked, prepped and ready to go; as well as remaining on top of the general cooking items during the busy and sometimes high volume services. This is a unique opportunity for a professional cook looking to join the kitchen team and to enjoy the fast-paced environment this venue has to offer. We are looking for an outstanding person who has some experience working in a busy commercial kitchen across a variety of cuisines and styles, delivering quality modern innovative food. Your duties will be, but not limited to; Receiving daily produce and ensuring its quality Rotation of stock and storing safely Overseeing the work undertaken by the kitchen hands and Cooks (Cook Grade 1, 2, Cooks). Ensuring that the quality and consistency of all food is of a high standard Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean at all times Maintenance of all kitchen equipment Check all food is stored and handled as per current food health and hygiene regulations Comply with and act upon all statutory legal and industry obligation You; Minimum 2-3 year’s experience in a professional environment. Able to work 5 days across a 7-day operation Must have qualifications or trade experience - Certificate 3 as a minimum Flexible and willing attitude, clear communication and customer service skills Immaculate grooming and pride in the presentation You will be reliable, dedicated, willing to continue learning and passionate. Salary - $56,500 to $60,000k + Super - dependant on experience. This role is classified as a Cook Grade 3 under the restaurant industry award.
