The Real Estate Portfolio Manager works with the VP Administration, and in collaboration with the Senior Capital Projects Manager, to manage a broad range of global real estate portfolio matters including city-specific real estate strategy development, deal and options analyses, lease negotiations, and ongoing lease management. She/he develops systems and maintains records as needed, and serves as a hands-on resource for local offices on all matters relating to the lease. Working closely with Finance, this role is responsible for firm-wide portfolio databases, the annual rent budget, and various related reporting for the CFO and Real Estate Committee. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Real Estate Planning and Strategy - Develop reports outlining needs and requirements pertaining to expansions, contractions, and new leases. Analyze lease obligations and options, and assist with formulating and presenting appropriate recommendations. Interface with internal stakeholders as needed. Lease Management - Participate in and/or lead the leasing and subleasing process including lease document development and review. Engage with external partners including Brokers, Attorneys, and Landlords/Representatives to manage transactions and other ongoing issues. Reporting and Documentation - Maintain lease documentation and metrics for existing portfolio and transaction pipeline. Real Estate Committee - Develop and prepare materials as needed for the Partner Real Estate Committee. Participate in meetings and document proceedings for follow-up action. Budgeting - Work with Finance and the Senior Capital Projects Manager to create annual real estate and capital projects budgets. Provide intermittent financial reporting. General Management - Coordinate and liaise with administrative departments (Legal, IT, HR), consulting staff, and external consultants to both gather and provide information. Travel Requirements: May occasionally travel to other AG offices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred. Equivalent of 7-10 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a corporate business environment. Broad, well-rounded background in real estate and leasing. Excellent finance, analytical, and communication skills with relevant experience in a multidimensional role. High degree of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint. Demonstrated intellectual curiosity. Flexible, personable, collaborative, and team oriented. Highly organized with excellent judgment. A proven problem solver and strong communicator.
