Job Summary The EHS Administrative Assistant will assist the EHS department with tracking, filing, maintain all EHS documents for multiple AFW facilities. You will assist with updating employee training records in Oracle, build and maintain excel spreadsheets, and assist with any other tasks as assigned. Job Requirements Capability to become certified in the operation of warehouse equipment Administrative experience preferred Previous experience using excel, word, adobe, power point, and additional office software. Ability to maintain confidential information. Ability to have a flexible schedule and work all shifts, holidays, and weekends. Job Expectations: Commitment to AFW’s safety policies and procedures and ability to promote awareness. Maintain a positive working relationship with employees, managers, and EHS co-workers. Ability to build basic excel formulas Ability to assist with and complete audits Coordinate and work effectively with multiple departments to continuously improve processes, maximize efficiency, and exceed customer service expectations Physical Requirements: Capacity to maneuver in confined and at times congested areas. Capability to stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily. Continuous use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back. Lifting, gripping, bending, kneeling, stooping, for 8 hours or more daily. Physical Work Environment: Fluorescent Lighting Concrete Flooring Climate effected by outside conditions Considerable exterior noise Extreme temperature fluctuations in warehouse A pre-employment drug screen and pre-employment background check must be passed upon job offer.
