Key Objective(s): American Dream is looking to add a Retail OPS Communications Director to their Retail team. The role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the retail field communications across all channels. This role entails working cross-functionally to ensure the successful pilot of brand roll outs, marketing and promotions as well as company culture. The Retail OPS Communications Director will advocate for the field teams in all aspects to ensure all initiatives are well-planned and seamlessly executed. Primary Responsibilities: Build a communications process that can scale as AD Retail adds points of retail in 2020. Manage communications, training and payroll platforms for field. Communicate with all corporate departments (Marketing, Planning, Brand Partnerships, Buying, Leasing, Creative) to ensure all workload for stores is captured, vetted, and communicated in a timely fashion. Identify potential communications platforms that can grow with AD Retail. Build and maintain retail planning calendar so that all parties are up to date on retail actions and are coordinating through you propose action in a retail store. Uphold and oversee communication standards for all communication from HQ to all AD points of retail; distill complex information into easy-to-understand updates for the team. Act as final sign off for proposed workload and communications going to the field, ex: trainings, events. Work with AD Retail Team to plan and schedule floor sets; ensuring field teams are adequately prepared for seasonal changes and new brands. Work cross functionally to ensure new and unique programs (market research, promotions, events) are rolled out to store in an organized fashion. Other duties as assigned Desired Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in retail operations or similar background in adjacent industries. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working for emerging or direct-to-consumer brands appreciated. Ability to work cross-functionally. Comfort asserting directives. Retail field experience appreciated. Comfort with task management platforms, Slack, Google Suite Open to wearing different hats and adaptable within a fast-paced start-up environment Physical Job Requirements: Sitting- Frequently Stand and move, Occasionally Perform repetitive motion (using keyboard)-Frequently Kneel and bend-Infrequently Reach at or above shoulder level-Infrequently Reach at or below shoulder level-Infrequently Lifting/carry up to 10 pounds-Infrequently Lift/Carry up to 30 lbs-Infrequently Stoop/Squat-Infrequently Handle larger items such as boxes or packages-Infrequently
