Minimum Requirements: 3+ years of experience in software and data quality testing. 2+ years of experience in creating automated testing. 2+ years of experience building test cases on data side for an Android app. 2+ years of experience testing data pipelines. Excellent analytical problem solving skills and QA mindset. Bachelors or master in engineering, computer science or related technical discipline. Strong SQL skills. Strong Python coding skills. Strong Unix/Linux shell scripting knowledge. Experience using Hadoop and Hive. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Expertise creating and executing test plans, test cases. Preferred: 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering. 3+ years of experience creating/maintaining automated testing systems. Experience using Scala and Java. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Understanding of AWS data storage. Familiarity with machine learning algorithms. Responsibilities: Effectively document and communicate defects found during testing. Create and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure Samsung Device Insight App collects data correctly and data flows to downstream systems correctly, Machine learning data pipelines are defect free, Machine learning models function properly. Create automated tests to ensure machine learning data pipelines function correctly in SQL, Python and Unix shell. Create automated tests to ensure correct machine learning model operation in production systems using Python and Spark. Work with the engineering team to implement regular automated testing on data pipelines. Work closely with Device Insights manager, app developer and data engineer to track SDK changes and build use cases (on data collection side) to test them interactively and in an automated fashion.
