Roles & Responsibilities: Manage the development and implementation of local documentation to ensure ongoing maintenance of information security. Implement and maintain the documentation and controls in line with the requirements of ISO27001 certification. Develop, test and maintain local business continuity plans together with operational management. Coordinate and convene the local security forum to manage all security matters. Manage risk management in relation to information security. Serves as primary organizational liaison concerning information security and privacy incidents, laws and policies. Register incidents related to security and organize an Incident Response team to act in case of security breach. Oversee the investigation of security breaches and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary Maintain a process to ensure recertification to ISO27001 at the due date and successful annual audits Work with functional groups (specially with human resources) in the validation of organizational/Personnel security certifications to ensure the security and privacy of information on computer systems Oversee and coordinate security efforts across service lines Maintain relationship with local, state and central law enforcement and other related government agencies Communicate with prospective and existing clients and inform of the extent and scope of the ISO27001 certification Conduct presentations to prospective clients to convince them of the soundness of ISMS Assist management in developing a centralized security model within the organization that is based on appropriate checks and balances to assure compliance and accountability Improve secure operational efficiency where possible, and address compliance Develop, coordinate and execute the awareness and training plans Provides instruction and training for all users on information security procedures and their application Ensures enhancement of expertise in security related technologies, trends, issues and solutions Participate in Bi-weekly Security Officers coordination meetings Communicate with IT Director on the matters related to Information Security.
