Legal Intern – Summer Allied Mineral Products Holding, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. We are currently seeking a Legal Intern for the summer of 2020 in our Columbus, Ohio facility to be responsible for working on various legal matters under the direction and supervision of our General Counsel, including legal research, contract drafting, review and analysis, matter management, and other legal projects that may arise. Qualifications: Must currently be enrolled in an ABA accredited JD degree program, having completed at least one year of study Prefer top 50% class rank Excellent analytical ability desired Excellent oral communication and writing skills required Must be highly organized with critical attention to details Must have a passion and interest in complex, international legal work Must demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop Must be able to work full time during the summer of 2020 Key Duties: Work on projects involving corporate law, domestic and international commercial matters, regulatory compliance issues in the manufacturing industry Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements Research legal issues relevant to an international manufacturing company Draft policies, procedures, and correspondence on legal matters Allied Mineral Products offers competitive wages, health, dental, STD, LTD and ESOP retirement plan and profit sharing.
