Purpose of Role The purpose of this operational role is to assist the underwriting team, as directed, with administration support in order to provide the best possible customer experience for Allica’s lending products. The role will ensure that all post sanction administration procedures are completed in timely manner and are compliant with Bank’s policies and procedures, along with supporting customer / introducer queries as required. Principal Accountabilities Deliver post-sanction administration to ensure timely release of communications, instructions and payments to support the bank’s ethos of fast, high quality service. Maintain good working relationships with all legal and valuation panel partners to ensure smooth and timely exchange of correspondence and communication. Maintain records for each case including clear sanction audit trail. Ensure compliance with Bank’s policies, procedures and guidelines together with all appropriate regulatory and statutory requirements, implementing actions to protect the Bank’s business at all times. Adhere to the Bank’s brand and culture values, ensuring that all accountabilities are undertaken in accordance with the Banks policies and procedures, and good client outcomes form the basis of decisions made. Communicate relevant information to team members, senior management and other interested parties ensuring essential features of the situation are understood, enabling informed decisions to be taken where appropriate. Communicate with borrowers, introducers and Business Relationships Managers to gather documentation required to assess loan applications. Maintain clear and accurate internal records for MI and monitoring. Maintain and update customer records, including data entry into FMS, the Core Banking system. Assist Operations team and other departments as and when directed. Experience Education to A level standard or equivalent Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills developed from a credit-based background A generic knowledge of the commercial environment and lending; Good level of financial and commercial awareness; A good understanding of Conduct and Treating Customers Fairly requirements relevant to Credit Operations Excellent oral and written communication skills; Excellent organisational and IT skills. Customer & Service Focus Customer satisfaction and engagement Effective and proven communication Ensure timely turnaround on procedures Teamworking Good interpersonal / communication skills. Ability to work with 3rd parties as well as internal team – strong relationship management skills Risk Management Ensure compliance to credit, risk and Operations’ policies and procedures Proactive risk/issue management at a level appropriate to the role Technical Strategy Knowledge Understanding of credit risk and concentration risk. Knowledge of appropriate credit search and data tools to enhance the credit decision process.
