Highway Logistics Specialist Alliance Shippers Inc., is one of North America’s largest privately owned providers of global logistics and transportation services. We are currently seeking a Highway Logistics Specialist to join our team in Mission, KS! The Role: Individuals must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be very comfortable with customer interaction. Responsibilities include system dispatching of drivers, monitoring of partner carriers, data maintenance, and heavy data entry. Specialist Additional Duties: Analyze service failures to address problem issues Take pro-active steps aimed at the prevention of service failures Provide mutual support during absence of other team members Initiate activities to facilitate process improvements Identify and resolve performance issues Education: High School degree required; Bachelor's degree strongly encouraged. Experience: One year brokerage or transportation experience preferred.
