About the Role A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building, Facilities and Services Manager to join us on a full time, permanent basis. This role attracts a salary of circa £50,000 per annum plus an attractive benefits package. The role will ensure the maintenance and upkeep of all company owned or leased buildings as well as all mobile, modular and relocatable units, to ensure that they meet the needs of the individuals that work in them as well as the patients that we care for. You will be responsible for: Project management of all refurbishments, decorations and building maintenance. Overseeing all work undertaken by contractors including the tendering process. Compliance to corporate Health& Safety requirements including the Corporate Water Policy. This includes the upkeep of any equipment and supplies. Calculation and comparison of costs for required goods and services to achieve maximum value for money including utilities Please note that we will be interviewing through the duration of this advert. Required Skills and Experience We would like to hear from candidates who are experienced in Facilities Management, ideally within a healthcare environment, combined with a good understanding of CQC requirements. Our ideal candidate will be flexible, thoroughly self-motivated and tenacious, with the ability to work largely un-supervised. You should possess a strong working knowledge of the appropriate standards and codes of practice relative to building maintenance and services such as MBIFM, IOSH or NEBOSH. You should have experience managing contracts and contractors as well as the ability to manage both hard and soft services. Ideally, you will be based within a commutable distance of our Central Support Office in Warwick. However we will consider other locations for the right candidate.
