We are looking for a Field Specialist, IT Business Developement for an opportunity located in Western Canada! The purpose of this position: The successful candidate who fulfills this role will be responsible for the Sales force coordination and business development in their sector. We are seeking an individual who likes working in a constantly changing environment and sees opportunities in any situation. You will be responsible for developing a growth strategy in order to achieve the goals set by the organization with an experienced team to support you. A typical work day: Lead the business development in a sector within the information technology community; Manage a Sales team (when required depending on sector size); Understand and showcase Alithya’s complete offering, competitive advantages, resources and processes; Identify business opportunities with our current clients to generate growth within existing accounts; Identify potential clients and develop an efficient conversion strategy for potential prospects; Document and maintain the short and medium term account plan for our clients; Document and maintain all related opportunity activities with our clients (using the CRM tool); Interact on a regular and effective basis primarily with the recruitment, legal, financial and human capital teams; Represent the organization in corporate and commercial activities; Understand the market trends and therefore make recommendations to senior management; Participate in the tender process and make presentations to our clients. Ideal candidate Exceptional interpersonal skills and a great communicator; Displays natural leadership qualities and strong team spirit; Strong analytical mind for problem solving, strategy development and business evaluation; A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Minimum of 10 years of experience in a business development position particularly within the information technology and/or consulting sector; Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership and strategy; Excellent knowledge of information technology within one of the following sectors (health, transportation, telecommunications, manufacturing, insurance, banking or retail); Experience in developing a new industry (strong asset). Bilingual (English and French), both written and spoken.
