Purpose Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking a Legal Assistant, otherwise known as ECN Processor, in its San Diego office. This position reviews and processes high volumes of Court ECF Notifications. Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities Review Court ECF Notifications for relevancy Download all corresponding documents filed on PACER Docket internal case management software with relevant ECF Notifications Email attorneys and paralegals alerting them of necessary ECF Notifications Save all ECF Notification Summary emails and Word Documents within case management software for historical data purposes Job Requirements High School Diploma required. No experience required Prior Bankruptcy experience preferred but not required General Competency Factors Must be self motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision Must be able to process high volumes of Court Notifications and Emails effectively and accurately Must have the ability to communicate with co-workers, attorneys and other staff members regarding files Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet Must be organized and multi-task oriented Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance. Takes initiative in face of obstacles and identifies what needs to be done and takes action. Demonstrates commitment to Firm’s vision, mission, and core values. Processes work in compliance with Client requirements as well as SOPs and Operations Matrices. Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking. Excellent problem solving and organizational skills. Must be a team player and willing to help others in their department whenever necessary. Develops professional relationships and builds rapport with others. Overall good work ethic and willingness to adapt to change.
