Alan Ritchey, Inc is seeking an entry-level Human Resources clerk for our South Haven, MS facility. This position will be responsible for providing support to the Warehouse Manager and will include staffing, training, and updating personnel records. This is a 30 hour per week position paying $17.00 per hour. Some weekend work may be required. Principal Function The entry-level Human Resources clerk is responsible for coordinating and executing administrative processes to ensure the overall efficiency of Alan Richey's Human Resources department. They will be accountable for the daily flow of HR paperwork, updating and maintaining HR files, providing safety training for new employees, be the first point of contact for prospective employees and scheduling interviews. They will be responsible for upholding Alan Ritchey, Inc. standards for accuracy, efficiency and quality, as they relate to Human Resource clerk functions. Required: High school diploma, some college and/or appropriate combination of education and work experience to support on-the-job effectiveness. One year of previous administrative experience, to include HR experience. Ability to work independently, exercising appropriate skills for effective judgment, creative problem-solving and taking initiative. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver and interpret information across various sources. Exceptional computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite software. Other Requirements: Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management; Ability to promote and participate in team environment concepts Self-starter who can work independently and on several tasks/projects simultaneously Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
