As a Computer Network Engineer you will: - Interpret network data that captures, such as pcap files. - Perform network design. - Maintain network management tools. - Perform network security. - Perform other duties assigned. Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level which this position has been advertised. - BS degree in engineering from an accredited engineering school (entry level to 15 years' experience - Avionic systems design and development (electrical or software). - Experience/exposure to one or more of the following major spacecraft systems and disciplines: - Propulsion. - Thermal. - ECLSS. - Power. - Electrical Systems. - Thorough knowledge of computer networking technology. - IEEE802.3 (Ethernet) standards. - Internet Protocol Suite (IPS). - Hardware cabling standards. - Experience with: - Network design. - Network management tools. - IT security. - Network troubleshooting techniques. - Familiar with commercial products available in computer networking technology. - Able to interpret network data captures, such as pcap files. Preferences: - Time Triggered Ethernet (TTE) experience is a plus. Experience with spacecraft avionics and circuit design or analysis is a plus. - Previous experience in the application of computer network technology in space systems is a plus. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $50,000.00 to $150,000.00 /year License: US Citizen (Required)
