DATA MANAGER (M/F) – FULL TIME Advanzia Bank is a European online direct bank specialising in credit cards and card payment solutions for consumers, business partners and financial institutions. We are currently looking for a Data Manager to join our IT Services Department. ABOUT THE JOB The Data Manager is part of the IT Services Department, which supports the daily operations of the bank’s production environment, including project implementation, Enterprise Architecture, Data Management and Provider management. Strategic responsibilities Establish Data Management practices by creating Data Governance schema, policies & procedures Collaborate with Architects, Provider Management and Business Engineering to design and enforce data management standards Liaise with business and product teams to determine data needs in terms of quality and volume Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data Devise and implement efficient and secure data handling procedures and analysis with attention to all technical aspects Assist with recognising and upholding digital security systems to protect information Operational responsibilities Influence and direct the Datawarehouse team in adopting and implementing data management principles Assist Enterprise Architecture to design Cloud-based data topologies Support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards Monitor and analyse information and data systems for performance evaluations and continuous improvement (new technologies, upgrades etc.) ABOUT YOU A degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience Strong experience in data management or analysis Ability to decipher & organise large amounts of data An analytical mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills Sound understanding of data portability considerations and models Knowledge and / or experience with Database Architecture and MS Azure & AWS Technology Stack Understanding of AI and big data, analysis mechanisms and enabler of cross team collaboration Team player with a strong focus on influencing and soft skills WHAT WE EXPECT Customer and service orientation mindset Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies An accurate, detail-oriented working style whilst keeping an eye on the big picture Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team-oriented environment Ability to deliver results within defined timeframe even under pressure “Can do” and “Get things done” attitude Fluency in English (verbal and written) – any additional European language is an advantage WHAT WE OFFER Attractive benefits as part of the banking collective agreement Wide range of additional benefits, e.g. Sympass, luncheon vouchers, transportation allowance, etc. On-the-job training Dynamic and international work environment in a fast growing company Participation in various CSR initiatives Located in bright and modern offices in Munsbach at 15 minutes from Luxembourg City, Advanzia currently employs around 190 staff from all over the world.
