We have an immediate opening fora Logistics Coordinator to facilitate and monitor the supply chain operation by ensuring an effective distribution of materials and products. This is a key position in a fast-paced and dynamic company with lots of growth potential. The best candidate will have: A Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management- and a minimum of 2 years of related experience Previous experience with an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV Strong computer skills Great communication skills and the ability to forge relationships with service providers Must be detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks with changing variables Essential Duties: Receive shipping requests Review customer contract to determine specific shipping requirements, as required. Generate shipping documents. Generate shipping documents within customer based systems. Schedule shipments with carriers. Establish and manage relationships with transportation services to resolve shipping issues. Track shipments. Review freight billings for accuracy. Ship Hazmat Materials, as required (Hazmat experience and certification a plus). Complete government shipping forms, as required. Experience with export shipping a plus Coordinate the daily receipt and issuance of materials. Complete Packing Slips and timely issuance to accounting. Coordinate inspection with Quality Assurance.
