Roles & Responsibilities Job Responsibilities Review specifications upon received of Request for Quotation (RFQ) from clients. Discuss with Sales Manager whether to proceed or decline to quote. Prepare preliminary design and costing on Analyzer Products & System, not limited to Sample Handling System, Analyzers, and Racks/Cabinets/Shelters and Prepare technical and commercial proposal for analyzer system, including all necessary documents (deviation list, drawings, spare parts list, project schedule, project organization chart, subvendor list, etc) as requested in Material Requisition. Discuss with Sales Manager on commercial terms including markup factor before submission. Prepare and submit technical bid evaluation and revised proposal until all technical aspects are clarified with clients. Update Sales Manager on progress & status of quotations. Attend technical clarification meeting or kick-off meeting before / after award, wherever possible. Attend commercial negotiation with clients together with the Sales Manager / Sales Director / General Manager. Handover awarded projects to Project Business Unit with compilation of all required documentation. Develop and update analyzer specifications (analyzer and spare parts master list, analyzer system costing, typical drawings, etc.) as per company’s format, company’s presentation of capabilities and album of projects executed. Prepare pre-qualification and survey documents received from clients. Source and evaluate new products, i.e. analyzers, sample system components, etc. Maintain confidentiality of any information that are classified as Confidential. Job Requirements Degree in Chemical, Process and Instrumentation Engineering or its equivalent Preferably with working experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical industries and a good understanding of analytical products and systems. Good command in English & Chinese and PR skills. Able to communicate effectively at all levels.(to liaise with Chinese speaking associates) Task-driven, self-motivated, positive working attitude and able to work independently. A good team player and able to work under pressure, willing to travel and able to work long hours when required to meet deadline
