We collaborate with more than 500 colleges, universities, and systems nationwide to improve stewardship of instructional resources, streamline student access to courses, and accelerate student completions. This is all made possible by our ground-breaking, world-class products. We limit bureaucracy and noise by being flat. The system organizes itself: for example, teams elect who represents their interests outside the team. Each team tackles customer problems as they see fit; no one hands you a big list of requirements. Everyone has a voice and the freedom to solve problems without heavy-handed architectural constraints. Teams set their own working rules within a few simple constraints. We take our culture so seriously, we measure it: We value quick, iterative delivery of software driven by a high tolerance for failure and a low tolerance for perfectionism; yet we don’t feel empowered to revisit quickly delivered code that we have learned needs improvement. We strive to create an environment of safety and support where we value each other as fellow human beings; so abrasive, bullying personalities don’t fit in. We are collaborative and self-motivated, don’t tolerate those that aren’t, and go out of our way to help each other. You'll notice that we're not perfect, but we're not afraid to admit that.
