Due to continued company growth, we’re seeking a dynamic yet methodical Junior Accountant to take ownership of our general day-to-day accounting activities of our German business, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, reviewing our general ledger for accuracy and ensuring data integrity within the sub-ledgers. You’ll also coordinate our monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities, producing comprehensive and accurate financial statements and ad hoc financial reports to support departments across the organisation, as required, and liaise with the external advisors for VAT and other tax declarations and payroll. You’ll provide detailed financial information, assisting in both the Finance department and the business in decisions that impact the business and overall financial reporting. The Person: Experience in a similar finance role with direct experience in Accounting Well organised with a meticulous eye for detail, ability to react with speed and precision to changing business priorities Fluent in German with business English language (both written and speaking) Strong IT skills, confident across the Microsoft Office suite including advanced Excel skills An accounting qualification is essential for role (kaufmanische Aussbildung) Working knowledge of SAP, would be advantageous The Rewards: In return, we offer a competitive salary, bonus and benefits, and the opportunity to make a genuine difference in a progressive and expanding business, at an exciting time of growing international reach.
