In this role Responsible for the accurate and timely planning of Bottle / Bulk loadings. Responsible for entire Export and Import processes and successful execution thereof. Continues improvement of service levels and business relationship with Forwarders, Shipping Lines, Warehouse, Blending Facilities and Cellars relevant to Export and Import Procedures. Ensure Export and Import processes are executed within the price structures as agreed to and maintain positive pricing. Responsible for relevant JDE capturing of various transactions pertaining to the Export, Import and local sales processes where applicable. Key accountabilities include Checking for new orders (Bottle & Bulk) on JDE on a daily basis, confirming weekly stock availability and vessel space. Generate accurate weekly load list to be forwarded to the applicable warehouse and booking agent. Check delivery sheet for Local orders to be sent timeously, assist the warehouse with picking and delivery queries. Monitor the sample request process and that the correct procedure is followed and assist warehouse with any stock/sample related questions. Manage and arrange Bulk wine loadings to mainly Accolade Park and the Rest-of-the-World. Ensure the necessary loading documentation is applied for and that all parties involved are duly updated and meets the requirements for bulk loading. Apply for Import approval certificates, assist with special label requirement and the application for inspection and Removal Certificates. Data capturing on JDE system with regards to Export, Bulk, Import and Local Orders. This process requires sales order processing, stock allocation, printing picking slips, validation and Ship Confirming order. This ensures invoices to be printed and sent to relevant parties for processing Daily updating and maintaining stock levels on JDE for warehouses (Neulux, Flagstone & Tasting Room). Issuing and accruing samples, breakages and movement. Arrange transport & reconcile stock issued for local wine shows (for example: consignment stock versus sample stock) Liaising with UK operations with regards to orders and stock availability. Other accountabilities include Overseeing all export queries by contacting the UK office or the customer directly, suggesting and electing the best options to proceed without any delay. Assist with specific order requirements by checking rework request, dry goods availability and stickers applicable to customers. Monitor and assist to attain positive releases results ensuring wines loaded complies with full approval as per procedure implemented by QC. Assist with export documentation when required – Applying for Export certificate, Notification of loading and Declaring loading on Wine-on-line for bottled and bulk stock to enable loading. Monitor MAP quota to ensure quota is utilized and statutory documents applied for. Checking agent and transport invoices (export & local trade), in conjunction with approved prices. Benchmarking transport rates. Generate and forward monthly stock report to Export customer Essential knowledge and skills are Negotiations Skills Language – able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and Afrikaans Experienced in working with JDE Ability to adapt to working environment (as required) Above average communication skills Planning/Organisation Decision Making Creativity & Innovation Builds productive working relationships Able to manage and deal with stress and conflict Able to work effectively within a team environment Contributing positively to the team Comfortable in dealing with senior employees and colleagues Required experience is Freight forwarding/Import & Export /Customs knowledge within the wine industry Managing & support direct report JDE proficient At least 5 – 8 years’ experience Essential qualifications are Relevant B Degree or a minimum of 10 years work experience in related field Advanced computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.) Physical and other requirements Non-specified Sound like your kind of drop?
