In October 2019, we appointed Michael Fitzgerald as our new Executive Chairperson. Michael is one of the original founders of our company and, with his return to leading the business, he and his team are investing new capital in the further growth and development of our company for the future. This includes a big focus on technology alongside continuous professional development programmes for our people and ongoing research and innovation. These great new developments led to an automatic resetting of some our CEO ratings and trending here on Glassdoor and that’s why the volume of reviews may seem low in some instances. Our three charity partners, chosen by our people, are Pieta House, Irish Guide Dogs and BelongTo. A lot of work goes into organising events and fundraising for these worthwhile charities. We also donate to many other causes throughout the year that are close to our hearts or close to our community. These include Movember, Simon Community, St Vincent de Paul, Penny Dinners and others. Abtran FC Our soccer team Abtran FC have been performing really well. Started in September 2018 after a CCFC Charity Match, the team have been going from strength to strength. Through hard work and dedication they have built a fantastic tight knit team and have even secured sponsorship from the Thomand Bar in Cork City.
