Description Our Finance team is looking for a Financial Analyst to contribute and grow alongside our Senior Analysts. Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be responsible for supporting financial forecasting, financial analysis, and contributing to management reporting activities. Responsibilities: Preparation and analysis of regular monthly management reports; monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions for assigned departments Reviewing operating budget line items on a regular basis with department leaders to ensure actual spending and budget are appropriately aligned Liaising with department leaders to obtain and analyze data or other information Gathering data from department leaders to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts; providing key analytics, analyses, and summaries as directed for management reports Assisting department leaders in the development of their annual operating budget Providing base level inputs, assumptions and analysis for the annual operating budget and monthly forecasts Assisting with management of the budgeting / forecast system Assisting with special projects and ad hoc analysis as required Periodic overtime may be required in order to meet deadlines or accommodate time zone differences Required Skills & Experience: University degree or Diploma in Accounting 2-3 years of Accounting experience Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, modeling) Strong attention to detail Strong quantitative analysis skills Desired Skills & Experience: Proficient in Adaptive and Tableau Financial planning and analysis experience Candidates who recently completed their accounting designation or close to completion Why Work For Us: Absolute empowers more than 12,000 customers worldwide to protect devices, data, applications and users against theft or attack—both on and off the corporate network.
