What you'll do In a few words… This position assists the Senior Professor of Transfiguration in all processes that require a bit of transfiguration magic. Changing things can be tricky, so a capable team is vital in order to ensure the development and execution of overall Talent Learning and Development strategies, initiatives, and plans. As Representative of Talent, Learning & Development (sorry, but we do have to use muggle titles for the rest of the world) you'll work with cross-functional teams to support the identification of Learning and Organizational Change opportunities and support the planning and execution of these work efforts, including organizational alignment (chakra work), stakeholder management, communications (telepathic and otherwise), and training. The fundamentals for the job… Support leadership development programs implementations. Support all initiatives intended to develop and accelerate the growth of the organization's leadership and culture. Develop promotional materials to spotlight Talent Learning and Development's projects. Support in the delivery of learning and development programs and solutions through improved utilization of technology; personally conducting training as needed. Support development and deployment of career paths (documentation). Act as an "agent of change" to support the use of organizational change management best practices, procedures, and methodology across the organization, as well as the continual improvement of department practices. Support the design and develop training solutions integrating interactive concepts and multiple media into the solution. Leverage business and organizational change management knowledge to proactively identify training and communication opportunities. Support coordinating and/or delivering team building activities. Support in the implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement of Abarca's Performance Management process. Provide support in strategic culture initiatives. Coordinate work on multiple initiatives simultaneously and balance competing priorities and deadlines. Support the analysis of inputs/processes and the development and delivery of presentations. Support the development and delivery of presentations to large audiences including senior leadership. Manage sensitive and confidential information (Lock it up and throw away the key). Live by and promote Abarca's culture and values (Don't we all?). Establish collaborative relationships with individuals at all levels throughout the organization. Stay current on research and practices in organization and leadership development. Participate in other projects specific to Learning and Organizational Development and Talent Strategy, as needed. Support the design, development, delivery, and management of organizational communications. Support leaders with Tribal Leadership tools, in Abarca's quest for Stage 4 (Upwards and onwards... always!) Track employee Why, training, skills, and certifications. What you're made of The bold requirements… (Aside from Transfiguration magic proficiency, obviously.) Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development Business Administration, or closely related discipline (In lieu of a degree, equivalent relevant experience may be considered.) 1-2 years of experience in human resources development, organizational effectiveness, learning and development, and/or talent management. Plus points and sparkles for an MBA, Master's in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organization Development, or closely related discipline. A Plus: Experience with web-based e-learning authoring, survey tools, Mailchimp, WordPress and Camtasia. Must be able to speak fluently in English in order to communicate with clients, team members, vendors, etc. Computer proficiency. Your Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) are Jedi Master level. Strong business acumen, detail-oriented organizational and interpersonal skills, and resourceful. Amazing interpersonal, verbal, written communication and facilitation skills. Proven ability to work effectively with employees at all levels (including senior management) and simplifying complex messages based on audience needs. Able to work independently and in collaboration to achieve goals. Aptitude for learning and understanding new technologies and business processes (Geeks and nerds are always welcome!).
