AWC Water Solutions specializes in providing integrated water, wastewater treatment plants and many other specialized industrial packaged solutions. We offer clients advanced in-house engineering & design with 3D modeling, piloting, fabrication and machining, in-house control panel shop, and a full range of field services, allowing us to provide turn-key solutions. We are seeking a qualified person to fill a senior position in our design department. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a high level of technical competence and experience in design of mechanical equipment for water and wastewater treatment systems. The candidate will be using 3-D drafting software to fulfill the following responsibilities Works with the engineering and fabrication teams to take concepts and produce system designs that include: Fabrication Drawings, Assembly Drawings, Bills of Materials, General Arrangement Drawings, Equipment Layouts and supports the development of change orders, etc. Performs advanced detailing, redrawing, lettering, and tracing of drawings on components and assemblies As a senior, it is expected that Quality Assurance is performed on other Design Team Members work Able to work independently or in a team from data such as previous drawings, layouts, detailed sketches, notes, minutes of meeting and standard references Able to performs drafting duties by operating Computer Aided Design (CAD) equipment such as digitizers, plotters, and associated peripheral equipment and software Use special techniques in schematic drawing, isometric, 3-D, orthographic, or perspective projection As a senior, help in the continual improvement of AWC’s Quality Management System’s practices, procedures, templates and checklists Requirements Degree or Diploma from Technical Institutions with CAD courses 5+ Years of experience in mechanical design of equipment and packages Experience in water and wastewater treatment process design would be an asset Familiar with 3-D drafting software from Autodesk Inventor Proven ability to communicate with other colleagues Benefits Industry Leading Compensation Packages.
