Senior Associate, Mobile Automation Posted on: (06-21-2019) AN OVERVIEW OF YOUR JOB ROLE As a Senior Associate, Mobile Automation, you will engage with product managers, developers and other internal teams to identify system requirements and technical specifications. You would also manage clients, represent AVIZVA’s expertise and thought leadership in offering solutions leveraging Mobile Automation. A DETAILED LOOK AT YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Requirement Analysis Independently lead the mobile software and test native, hybrid and mobile applications (iOS & Android) Understand detailed requirements, specifications, technical design documents and create well-structured test plans and test cases Contribute to the ongoing feature development with your testing expertise and drive automation suites, using Selenium & Appium Identify gaps and perform preliminary investigation on failure cases using developer tools Closely monitor the debugging process results and track the bugs in the bug tracking tool JIRA Independently perform non-functional testing like performance and security testing Project Execution With the given guidance, manage your own and designated track work Ensure completion of deliverables on the assigned track Apply AVIZVA approach, methodologies and tools Quality Ensure high quality deliverables for your own/designated track tasks Risk and Issue Management Perform thorough regression test to ensure there is no side effect on existing system, due to a bug fix or any new feature development Identify risks and issues within the assigned tasks and/or on the assigned track of work and communicate it to the project leadership/client with possible impact and proposed resolution Risk and Issue Management Identify risks and issues within the assigned tasks and/or on the assigned track of work and communicate it to the project leadership/client with possible impact and proposed resolution Communication Handle client discussions on process/technology Communicate effectively with the other members of the project like testing team and client’s development/testing team Writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases Company Contribution Own and drive organisation wide initiatives YOU ARE EXPECTED TO BE MORE THAN GOOD AT FOLLOWING SKILLS Selenium, Appium Working knowledge of tracking tool JIRA Understanding of Agile/ Scrum development process QA methodologies, tool & processes Android and iOS platforms Experience in using emulators for mobile app testing PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Innovative, passionate and self motivated Dependable and ready to take ownership of every task assigned Good comprehension, analytical and presentation skills Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with technical and non-technical personnels at all levels in the organisation Multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision Prioritise when under pressure MUST HAVE’S 5 to 7 years of relevant experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required in Computer Science or related field
