We currently have an exciting new opportunity available to fill the position of Manager IT Applications. This role will be based in Jandakot and the successful candidate will report into the General Manager of Information Technology. The position will lead the application architecture and implementation strategies for major business systems, work with project managers to agree delivery plans, administer an IT governance and project management framework to support the organisation’s objective, and liaise with senior business managers to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. The successful candidate will therefore have a critical role and be accountable for managing a portfolio of on premise and cloud-based business applications as well as the management of project delivery vendors, project road maps aligned to business milestones, and capital budgets. In addition, the position will be responsible for delivery of asset management, field and workforce management, and customer experience systems, as well as modern digital technologies such as data analytics and robotics process automation to improve employee enablement strategies. What you will contribute to: Support the company’s strategic initiative to digitally transform the business by shifting IT from being a traditional IT organisation into contemporary organisation that is business-focused as well as outcome-focused Modernise and maintain the application Enterprise Architecture to improve organisational impacts through productivity, agility, product and service timeliness, revenue growth and cost reduction. Thus, defining and applying architecture principles for solutions within ATCO Plan and coordinate the delivery of IT Programs and Projects to ensure business objectives are met. Including but not limited to providing strategic and operational support, including program reporting, demand management, portfolio risk and issue tracking, quality control and post project benefits tracking and reporting Analyse complex Operational Systems and/or business processes to identify improvements that will benefit ATCO in terms of cost, labour, materials, system requirements, quality, efficiencies, reliability, employee and customer satisfaction. Work with relevant business areas to ensure users are prepared and ready for implementation of new or enhanced business systems and associated processes About you: Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, information systems or similar Ability to modernise and maintain the application enterprise architecture and business capability maps Ability to work with external providers to design innovative technology solutions to resolve business problems Experience in developing project roadmaps for the short, medium and long term as well as managing a portfolio of projects to deliver technology solutions utilising a PPM toolset Knowledge and experience of on premise and cloud-based business applications in areas including SAP, Hasen, OpenText and ESRI Have strong financial management skills and experience in particular with budgeting, forecasting and cost control Demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge and experience in information technology and digital systems.
