Mechanical Assembly Technician Location Leeds Job Type Contract Salary £12.0000 - 12.5000 per hour Contact Luke Corr Call 0113 243 7373 Reference 12089048 Mechanical Assembly Technician – West Yorkshire (Leeds / Bradford) 3-month contract - £12.50p/h Immediate start – Inside IR35 Precision Engineering / Complex Assemblies / Packaging Machinery I am recruiting for a key client, and a highly reputable growing organisation in West Yorkshire, who are recruiting for an Assembly Technician, on an initial 3-month temporary contract basis, to assist with the build of their complex machinery. My client is a leading OEM within the packaging engineering markets, supplying a high-end and reputable product to the FMCG and food production industries. For this position, you will require to conduct the following daily duties: Assembly of machines and sub-assemblies efficiently Applying high standards of quality Inspection of incoming parts / received goods fit for purpose Providing support to stores and ensuring that spares sent out are correct The successful person will need to have the following attributes: Thorough knowledge of following complex mechanical SOPs and building technical machinery Safe and effective use of tools, manual lathes and other workshop equipment Understanding of Quality Systems, H&S and environmental policies Ideally apprentice trained The benefits of this position: Working for a growing and reputable organisation Excellent engineering and production environment Potential for a permanent role Immediate interview/start I am looking to speak to experienced Assembly Fitters who are looking for a rewarding and challenging position in an excellent working environment.
