We are currently seeking a Press Operator - Metal Stamping to join our team. Qualifications: Minimum of 2-3 years work experience as a press operator or tool setter within a similar operating environment is preferred. Experience working on progressive dies considered an asset. * Experience in four-slide, multi-slide, or multi-forming an asset. Understanding of automotive manufacturing and IATF16949 requirements. Ability to work a variety of shifts such as rotating and straight: days, afternoons and/or nights. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude. Ability to work overtime as required. Responsibilities: Perform duties to operate press machines. Conduct quality checks to ensure superior product quality. Perform routine maintenance as required. Utilize safety and automatic sensing devices. Move finished parts to proper areas. Replace new coils of steel. Follow procedures for recording production and quality check information. Actively participate in area 5S and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Follow company policies and procedures. Complete other duties as assigned.
