About you To be successful in this role you will have: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or similar Finance environment Not essential but may have a recognised relevant tertiary qualification in finance or similar area Attention to detail and high level of integrity Good communication skills (Professional proficiency of English is essential. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is useful when communicating with local tax agent or suppliers in Indonesia) Ability to work within a team and confident in dealing with colleagues, external contacts and outside professionals and enjoy working as part of a team Strong internal and external client focus and willing to provide support to both finance staff and others. Knowledge of Concur system and JD Edwards would be advantageous About the role The primary focus of this role is to provide finance business support and be a single point of contact for the Shared Service centre in relation to the successful completion of finance tasks forSingapore and Indonesia. You will liaise with Engineers, Project Managers, Project Directors and Business Services staff as necessary, to provide finance related support and assistance as and when required. You will be part of the Local Finance team and be working with Shared Service Centre (UK), Office Business Services and Office Sectors teams and reportingSenior Financial Accountant. In this role you will: Provide face to face local support in the area of accounts payable such as urgent invoice payments, staff expenses’ claims, supplier queries, credit card management Provide regional support/cover for queries arising with Concur System and necessary training to staff members on Concur Invoices and Expenses claims Assist with filing of quarterly Singapore GST return, monthly Indonesia VAT and WHT (Withholding taxes) tax return (desirable but not required) Assist with directing queries and resolving issues raised by staff Assist with month end closing The people at Arup are driven to find a better way and to deliver better solutions for our clients.
