Temporary Customer Service Advisors Location: Manchester Job type: Temporary, full-time Contract Dates: 01/04/2020 or 16/04/2020 – 13/05/2020 with opportunity for contract extension Hourly Rate: £9.00 Job Details: Based near the University of Manchester campus, we are recruiting a team of Temporary Customer Service Advisors to support our peak period. We experience an increase in inbound customer calls and emails during our busy season at AQA, when our GCSE and A-Level exams are being sat by students and marked online by examiners. Previous telephone experience is beneficial, however this is an excellent opportunity for those from a retail/hospitality background to gain experience working in a contact centre office environment. The role: Be the first point of contact when dealing with queries and enquiries by telephone and email. Manage incoming calls from examiners, troubleshooting technical issues with our online marking systems. Escalate issues and transfer specific enquiries to appropriate teams when required. These roles are full time (35 hours a week), with 7 hour shifts worked between 8am-9pm, and 8 hour shifts available at peak times. Evening and weekend work will be necessary to meet the needs of the business during key peak periods and is shared amongst the team. We’re looking for people with: excellent verbal and written communication the ability to stay calm under pressure strong customer focus good time keeping and reliability experience problem solving technical issues (desirable, not essential).
