Associate, Debt Capital Markets Access industry leading employee benefits An innovative, flexible and collaborative work environment Reports to the Head of Client Solutions Group, E&A About The Role Role Location: ANZ London Role Type: Permanent, Full Time role As the Debt Capital Market Syndicate you will bring clients to the capital markets in Asia, Australia, and NZ, as well as to other markets where ANZ operates. You will monitor the underlying bond markets to identify opportunities for client issuance, determine investor demand and best pricing, covering clients and originating new issues. You will assist in all aspects of origination and underwriting, including supporting client and team on pitch, coordination of offering documentation, transaction approvals process, execution, settlement and after-market communications. You will also work closely with Derivatives members of the Client Solutions team to deliver holistic, comprehensive solutions (debt issuance and associated derivatives) to clients for event driven situations and BAU. Furthermore, you will support the design and development of the core marketing strategy, including development of pitch book and relevant marketing material. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following - Extensive experience in bond or loan organization within the European markets and with European clients Experience in Asia, Australia and New Zealand product is an advantage Strong background in corporate finance or credit analysis with the ability to understand and analyse client’s business and financials Sound working experience with the syndicate team on all aspects of the deal life cycle, including book building, documentation, road show, pricing, execution and hedging Demonstrated interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills in managing our key stakeholders Team player with strong work ethic and growth mindset About ANZ At ANZ, everything we do boils down to ‘why’ – our purpose – to shape a world where people and communities thrive.
