Overview: Women’s Health Services’ health education programs promote access to health care services at AltaMed through the implementation of evidence-based curricula and community outreach aimed at reducing HIV, STIs, and unintended pregnancy among the target population. Participants are linked to a wide range of health services available at AltaMed, including Family PACT services. Under the direction of the Women’s Health Program Manager, the Women’s Health Data Analyst is responsible for providing support for analysis, quality improvement, data tracking and monitoring, project coordination, and preparing project deliverables related to health education and outreach grants. He/she will help to support project evaluation by developing data tracking processes for all health education and outreach activities in addition to supporting the health education team with the administration and collection of survey and demographic data from program participants and community partners and will develop data input processes; execute analytic and evaluation plans; and prepare reports. This position is responsible for maintaining project work plans, calendars and timelines related to continuous quality improvement (CQI) and process evaluation activities. This position coordinates CQI Committee and Community Advisory Boards meetings, including maintaining accurate records of Committee and Board minutes and action plans. Will prepare presentations and reports on project outcomes for dissemination to stakeholders and maintain proficiency in evidence-based curricula to support quality improvement of health education implementation. Finally, this position will support health educators with program implementation to target patients and/or community members, as needed. Responsibilities: Support project plans for data gathering and analysis, which identify key issues, problems, solution approaches, performance metrics and resources required. Provide technical assistance support to program staff with data collection as needed. Collect, analyze and interpret process evaluation data; conduct root cause analyses to identify and prioritize opportunities for quality improvement. Create, run, analyze and distribute routine and ad hoc CQI reports. Implement data analytic tools to support data tracking, monitoring, and decision-making. Support ongoing evaluation of program and completion of semi-annual reports. Responsible for coordination of CQI Committee, Community Advisory Boards, program evaluation activities and adherence to project work plan. Assist in the development and evaluation of curricula in order to support continuous quality improvement of health education implementation. Support team members with health education and outreach to target patients and/or community members as needed; may include individual or group setting as directed by the Program Supervisor/Manager. Work collaboratively and effectively with other team members to achieve program/division and corporate goals. Perform all other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in health care, public health or related field is required; Master’s Degree in Public Health from an accredited college or university program with a focus in health care/community health is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis and evaluation strongly preferred. Experience in health care or public health process improvement and project coordination strongly preferred.
