Analyst 1, Inorganics – Coventry An opportunity has arisen for an Analyst 1 in the Inorganics team at ALS Environmental in Coventry, West Midlands. As an Analyst 1 you will complete, to the required quality standards, the analysis of samples for a range of Chemistry methods. About the Position Hours per Week: 37 Days per Week: Monday to Friday Basis: Full-time and Fixed Term (Until March 2021) Annual Salary: £15,797 Closing Date: 27th February 2020 Key accountabilities about the Position: Samples completed in compliance with quality management system Samples completed to allocated quantities and deadlines Adhere to Health and Safety and Company policies and procedures Maintain daily service delivery to Company KPI’s Understand customer requirements Reporting of analytical data, when deemed competent under the competent persons regulations Work with other team members to ensure efficient flow of samples About you To be successful in this role you will require the following Competencies: Ability to follow instructions and procedures Good communication skills Basic IT skills Work effectively in a team Ability to plan and organise own work area Attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate records Customer focused Skills and Experience 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above to include Science, Maths and English A level or equivalent in scientific subject Ideally some laboratory experience in Chemistry Job Types: Full-time, Contract Salary: £15,797.00 /year
