About the role Everyone knows our customers are passionate about Bungy, but it’s fair to say they’re pretty keen on their coffee too! Our Cafe Crew are passionate about providing a range of outstanding products, just as awesome as the adrenaline-filled experiences we offer & we’re looking for a Cafe Assistant with phenomenal taste, hospitality know-how & barista skills that wont leave a bad taste in our mouths, to join the team at the Kawarau Bridge this week & add their own flair to the mix. We can't promise these role will be a piece of cake (in Summer we see around 3000 people/day at our site in Gibbston!) but we can offer you the chance to showcase your skills & continue your professional development in a fun & fast-paced environment, with the best Crew & Customers around. This full-time position, will require full-time availability & start ASAP. They may require weekend days & applicants should be eligible to work in NZ. The roles are located in breathtaking Queenstown & we prefer applicants to reside in the local area. Key responsibilities include Completing inventory & restocking products Upselling Food & Beverage offerings Visual merchandising & food display Making coffees & other beverages Table service Cafe area cleaning & general tidying, to comply with H&S legislation Supporting Kitchen Crew; including (at times) food prep & cooking menu items Requirements, skills & experience To serve up what we're after, you’ll need… Coffee making skills that'll leave the competition feeling flat (white!)
