Roles & Responsibilities Purpose of the Job This role plans and manages AET Group’s internal and external communications to maintain a strategic and an effective dialogue with AET’s key stakeholders - employees, customers, partners, local community and suppliers, in addition to all public relations. Responsibilities Manage and co-ordinate incident media management - drill and with support from crisis communications vendor. Setup and manage social media engagement specifically for Twitter, Facebook and Linked-in to support corporate business needs such as mitigating negative reports during an incident as well looking at social media as a tool to reach out to sea staff. Enforcement of AET corporate Identity in line with the brand image including managing corporate collateral and promotional items. Crafting effective internal and external messages to support the delivery of business strategy and goals to relevant stakeholders using appropriate communications medium (speeches, intranet, email, presentations, meetings, conferences etc). Manage the execution/support for key corporate initiatives internally such as Cultural Beliefs Embedding Programme and externally such as CSR initiatives and Customer events. Manage the delivery of internal publication such as Eaglestar newsletter as agreed with Marine Services stakeholder (expected to be three times per annum). Oversee project time lines, review and continuously improve this newsletter to ensure on-time delivery of a quality publication designed for seafarers. Oversee of production of corporate collaterals, including photography, AET’s Annual Review and marcom tool kit etc. Oversee the coordination with MISC Group on high profile corporate events like ship naming ceremonies including writing invitations and speeches and producing brochures. Support and develop the Corporate Communications team members. Requirements Bachelor degree in Communications, English, Journalism or related discipline. At least 10 - 12 years of relevant experience in corporate communications. Has exposure in full spectrum of Corporate Communications such as: - External communications: Crisis communications, PR / media, local community, web content development and management Internal communications: Employee communications Editorial management and production, speaks well, speech / content / news / corporate writing, events management, corporate visual identity, change management Fluency in using web-based and social medical communications platforms Comfortable with multi-tasking, ability to manage competing deadlines Ability to adapt to change constantly Strong communication skills, experience of communicating with large groups, one to one, people of all levels, written and oral Strong influencing skills and project management skills Able to work in diverse cultures and time zones Self-starter and independent worker
