Roles & Responsibilities POSITION TITLE: Sampling, Shipping & Inventory Technician (1 year contract) REPORTING TO: Laboratory Manager Singapore LOCATION: Singapore COMPANY: ADM DEPARTMENT: PURPOSE OF JOB: The main purpose of the role is: 1) To manage all sampling requests for Singapore i.e. incoming and outgoing sample management for flavors and specialty ingredients 2) Generate invoices, necessary shipping documents and updating shipping information 3) Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies. The Sampling, Shipping & Inventory Technician reports into the Laboratory Manager Singapore. SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing on time sample requests Receiving all incoming ingredients and flavors samples Maintain Sampling laboratory and determined stock levels of Flavors and ingredients Coordinate with shipping and dispatch to ensure samples are sent on time Collaboration with the Application Manager and application teams on the stock management of various ingredients and routine materials for in-house use Prioritize workload across all customers’ flavor sample requests The role is diligent in the implementation of all company policy requirements including reporting, compliance, training and other items as assigned by Management. EDUCATION: Qualification: Diploma in Food Science/ Chemistry or ITE Certificate in related field preferred. Experience in similar role is beneficial. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Experience in food and/or Flavor Industry is preferred Basic Laboratory experience Preferably experienced in managing a sample library Able to lift and carry 25 KG packages daily ANY OTHER REQUIREMENTS Good communication skills and interpersonal skills Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude with open minded approach Good computer software skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Able to work independently as well as a team player Good problem-solving skills, communication skills and time management skills Detail oriented
