Role Purpose: You will oversee, lead, develop and manage your team to ensure the most efficient work- flow process for all team members. You will be responsible for driving fit approval process to creating quality standards throughout all categories: intimates, home wear, apparel and accessories. From streamlining fits and mentoring your technical team to have best practices and partner with design to deliver the best product to our customer. Must have In-depth knowledge and experience of how sewing and different construction techniques can enhance the fit and aesthetic across multiple fabrications to guide and educate your team. Job Responsibilities: Drive and deliver improved fits throughout categories Lead strategic development of the technical design team. Provide plan and vision to push for future company initiatives. Creating key tools for tech and design to build better products such as pad and functional trim library for intimates Educating your team to implement new key technical strategies Creating shared folders and/or guidelines for grading rule, standardizing size conversions and implementing work process for technical designers, technicians, production and suppliers to align resulting in fostering transparency and clearer communication Manage team development and execution process, integrating milestone meetings and timeline into overall process requirements Establishes standards for fit, grade rules, and construction details for all categories while commercializing fit and grading from concept to production Implement fit process to create key fit blocks for all categories in order to ensure consistent and improve fit Planning & Developing Fit Process Is accountable for establishing and maintaining fit blocks for all categories to ensure consistency in sizing Lead the fit process for new brand initiatives partnering with design on establishing core fits Provide input and support development of overall product vision and strategic plans Lead development of the technical design team. Provide plan and vision to push for future company initiatives Train and on board new and current vendors regarding technical design requirements with your sourcing team Be a Leader & Foster Collaboration Drive collaboration & partnership with design, sourcing and buying Create an positive environment that supports and rewards strong performance and professional growth Manage and lead team by hiring, training, coaching, counseling and developing members Requirements Associate or above preferred in Fashion Technology or relevant discipline With at least 7+ years of managing a technical team and/or 10+ years of progressive technical design Previous experience and knowledge in international fit for apparel Knowledge of Asian intimates fit is preferred Team player and with experience in leading a technical design team Strong strategic and analytical skills to build company initiatives Entrepreneurial spirit, capability of cross team communication & synergy Excellent organizational skills and able to delegate work to handle multiple projects Great communication skills verbally and in writing Fluent in English is preferred
