Senior Core Network Ops Engineer Here's what you'll do in this job: You will look after the network management, support, operations and optimisation of the Core Network elements and implementation of initiatives to improve network performance, efficiency, provide capability and new services to improve the customer experience. Perform health checks, preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance as required in the Core Network. Implement, develop and optimise processes and procedures to explore simplification and automation to improve Network operational performance and Perform impact and risk assessment on Network changes including Software/Hardware Lifecycle Management. ……And here's some of the different things you might also do: Plan a birthday roadie - because we'll give you an extra day off to celebrate. Understanding of Core Network configuration and optimization Understanding of signaling protocols, call flow and 3GPP standards on the Core Network Technical knowledge about EPC, USN/SGSN, UGW/GGSN, DNS, DRA, STP, MSC, MGW, SBC and other Core Network platforms Strong understanding of VoLTE, VoWifi, CSFB, NFVs and VMs Working knowledge on 5G and other emerging technologies in the Core Network Space Understanding of ITIL Framework Working knowledge in scripting and automation tools Along with this you will be customer focused with the ability to engage and collaborative with stakeholders and other teams, self-motivated and a strong problem solving with a proven track record of simplifying complex network issues.
